PLAINFIELD, NEW JERSEY — Joseph “Joe” Colodne, a respected athletic coach and mentor affiliated with Kean University and Parma High School, has died unexpectedly, leaving a lasting impact on the communities he served. His passing has prompted an outpouring of grief from students, colleagues, and families across the region.
Colodne was best known for his work guiding high school athletes through college recruitment and development programs. He played a pivotal role in annual College ID and High School Prep Camps hosted at Kean University, where he worked closely with student-athletes from Parma High School and beyond.
